Who We Are

When I Was A Child Corporation started in 2015 with a mission to help adolescent girls become more self-sufficient in society through behavioral health care services. Then, in 2017, we extended our services to children and their families, making it the organization that it is today. Now, we serve individuals of all ages from all walks of life that have mental health issues, undergone physical and emotional abuse, trauma, and homelessness.

Our professionals lend their knowledge and skills to treat, train, and counsel individuals who are struggling with their mental and emotional well-being. We deliver person-centered services that will aid them in their journey to recovery, so they can achieve wellness in the long run.
